Today I´m doing a post with Poison Ivy as inspiration. 

One of may favourites villains in ALL the DC world!

Almost everyone knows Poison Ivy, though perhaps you don´t know that she was based on the short story by R. Hawthorne, "Rappaccini's Daughter," in which a botanist seeks help from her daughter to care about poisonous plants, making her immune but proving poisonous to others. 

A story based on a an ancient story from India. 
Her first appearance in the comic was in 1966, in the image, the original design of the character in the 60s.
